SOD Power as GliSODin is an innovative form of superoxide dismutase (SOD), an important enzyme in the body for protecting the body s cells and tissues from free radical damage. SOD Power is 100 percent vegetarian and is comprised of gliadin, a wheat protein extract, and a melon extract containing SOD. Preliminary evidence suggests that the gliadin may protect the SOD enzymes from degradation in the digestive tract and may support an increase in circulating antioxidants.
